“2025 - The Year of Open Heavens (Prophetic Word)”

On October 4th, 2024 I was asking God to show me what is coming to America. In a vision I saw what was like a torrent of pure worship exploding forth in our cities and a deluge of God’s glory descending from Heaven. I knew that everything we had contended for over the last four years was coming into focus. This eruption of praise was driving out the the demonic giants in the land and opening the windows of heaven to even greater salvation, healing and deliverance. There was a new grace to gather and a new anointing to host God’s presence. Our nation was experiencing spiritual and natural blessing.

I was immediately brought to the testament of King David’s life for two reasons:

1) For a time, David served diligently with a pure heart in the field and defeated lions and bears. Then suddenly, his moment of destiny was brought before him and he was given a new anointing as he took down Goliath.

2020-2024 was our lion and bear season. In 2025 it is time to take down the giants of intimidation, control, mockery, defilement, rebellion, perversion and fear—a philistine spirit.

2) After this, David, a worshipper, set into motion a worship movement that completely changed the landscape of a nation. When he was anointed king, he made an unprecedented governmental decision to assign 4,288 skilled singers and musicians to minister to the presence of God at the center of the capitol city. This went on 24 hours a day for 33 years straight. Because of this, tremendous favor and expansion came to Israel

In 2025, as we mobilize worship across our cities, not only are the giants coming down but we will take the ground where they once reigned and God’s righteousness will be established in our land.

The Lord then brought me to Isaiah 25 (for 2025). This passage opens with a posture of worship and states that the strong people will glorify God. This posture is linked to the dismantling of corrupt narratives and the pulling down of pride and trickery. The scripture then points to a feast that will be prepared for God’s people and an awakening to the truth across the nations. It also prophesies that the people will declare God’s faithfulness and rejoice in His salvation.

More Prophetic Insight:

I realized weeks later that the day the Lord began to speak to me about this new grace that was coming in 2025 was Rosh Hashanah (Oct 4th) which marks the beginning of the year 5785 on the Jewish Calendar. This year begins and ends with the number 5 which symbolizes grace and favor. The number 5 in Hebrew, “heh”, also represents open windows and new opportunity.

Prophetic Declaration:

To all those that have survived the last season, God is bringing reinforcements, rejuvenation, and a new joyous song. This does not mean our fight is over, but there is a new grace God is releasing on His faithful ones. 2025 will be a year of continued exposure of darkness, open heavens, purity and divine favor. It is a Davidic year and an important window to the next couple decades.

The worshippers must run into the open spaces filling the vacuum of true music and messaging. There will be fresh anointed songs about the worth of Jesus that will bring about His manifest presence. The worship movement is being simultaneously purified and enlarged and is returning to pure songs of adoration that pierce open the heavens and tear down giants.

On a natural level, there will be security, social and economic recovery, and even wealth established to the righteous. On a spiritual level, there will be a great harvest, miracles and an increase of encounters with God among young people that will change their life trajectories forever.

This is NOT a year of retreating, nor a time to solely rest, rather a time to seize a key window of opportunity. How we respond in ‘25 will drastically affect how the following years play out.

Final Note: A Call to Purity

We will have as much authority as we have purity. I am convinced that one of the reasons God chose David to slay Goliath and eventually be king of Israel was to show the world that He cannot elevate a man/woman who is riddled by insecurity, comparison and man-pleasing (Saul) or corrupted by greed, selfish ambition and jealousy (his brothers). David stepped into greatness because it wasn’t about his fame but about the Lord’s. Our call to purity is our greatest call in this new season.
